US 281 EIS PUBLIC MEETING #3 IS THIS THURSDAY, APRIL 29TH!

The public is encouraged to attend the US 281 Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) Public Meeting #3 on Thursday, April 29, 2010, from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the Summit Christian Center, 2575 Marshall Road.

If you attended the public scoping meeting in November 2009, you may have participated in the small work group sessions. We are planning to have a similar format at the April 29^th public meeting that will begin with an open house from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM, a formal presentation from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM and small work group sessions beginning at 7:30 PM. These small work group sessions will provide an opportunity for you to participate in detailed discussions, ask questions, and hear what your neighbors think about the alternatives evaluation process and the Reasonable Alternatives being considered for the US 281 corridor from Loop 1604 to Borgfeld Road. As always, your comments and participation continue to be vital to the success of the EIS process.
