Also you can continue to follow us on Facebook and Twitter! If you’d like to sign up to receive the new US 281 EIS E-newsletter, click here, and encourage your friends and neighbors to also sign-up!

If you'd like to keep up with the Alamo Regional Mobility Authority (Alamo RMA), please visit their blog at http://voices.mysanantonio.com/leroyalloway/.

Whether you've been following the US 281 EIS from the beginning, or you're just now learning about the EIS, thank you for taking the time to visit this web site and become involved! For the US 281 EIS to be a success, it's very important for the community to participate every step of the way.

I sure hope the newsletter will tell us specifically, for 281 how this will work. No one has really detailed that. However apparently SAPD understands it, since they were out in force Monday AM writiing warning tickets. That's not the right way to teach folks.

Who is the engineer that dreamed up the mess on 281. I dont see these temporary slapped up overnight roads lasting more than 5 years. Did anyone consider just changing the timing of the lights at each intersection. Doesnt take a rocket scientist to see that this wont work. It will only get worse.

I'm with Joel. This is the worst planned "super street" and a waste of everyones money and time. Guess who will be building an actual highway in a few years when we have all complained enough and paid enough tax dollars to pay for this mistake and the new road that is needed. It is a wonder why the contractor for this job doesnt have their name plastered everywhere like normal sites... because they don't want to be associated with this job. Royal screw up, San Antonio and Alamo RMA. I think all of you sit in a position to make decisions about roads in our area, but have you yourself driven on this "super street"? It super sucks.
