Community Involvement Plan
As the US 281 Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) moves forward, the Alamo RMA wants to ensure all stakeholders are informed and involved each step of the way. This Community Involvement Plan lays out concepts and strategies for accomplishing the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) requirements for public involvement related to EIS projects, per Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) policies and procedures.
This plan describes how the Alamo RMA’s desire for public involvement will go beyond the minimum requirements and creatively engage and involve stakeholders and members of the public through multiple means of outreach.
