On March 12, 2009, the Alamo Regional Mobility Authority Board of Directors authorized the selection of a consulting team to prepare the environmental impact statement for potential improvements to the US 281 corridor, north of Loop 1604 to the Bexar / Comal County line.

The consulting team, shown below, was the recommendation of staff and review committees after a competitive qualification based procurement process.

The team is lead by Jacobs Engineering, a worldwide professional technical services company with over 55,000 employees.

Subconsultants for the team, as outlined in the proposal response, include:

• Ecological Communications Corporation
• Zara Environmental, LLC
• Smith and Associates Consulting, LLC
• Ximenes and Associates, Inc
